JJC LCH-LX5 POP UP LCD Hood is made to fit the LCD screen on the Panasonic DMC-LX5 & Leica D-Lux5 camera.

The hood blocks out unnecessary light for glare-free viewing of the LCD screen. This allows you to compose your images if using live view mode, or to review your images after shooting.

    Great that I can just attach it to the camera hot-shoe instead of attachment by sticky glue on the underside of the hood. Also I can remove it anytime shooting indoor when the hood is not required. Cheapest improvement to a compact camera instead of purchasing a digital viewfinder; a Leica viewfinder is costly as I use a Leica D-LUX 5. Tested it, it worked well outdoor in shielding stray light and I could view the LCD clearly to compose my shot. Prevents fingers from touching the LCD screen - thus keeping it clean.
