This Benro FR1015 100 x 150mm FH Square Filter Outer Frame is designed to encase the edges of a separately available, 100 x 100mm, 2mm thick filter for use within a Benro FH100M2HF Master 100mm Filter Holder or a Benro FH100M2BHF Master 100mm Wide-Angle Filter Holder, as well as the filter holders contained in a Benro FH100M2 Master 100mm Filter Holder Kit or a Benro FH100M2B Master 100mm Wide-Angle Filter Holder Kit. By encasing the sides of an installed filter, this filter protecting frame helps to eliminate stray light, which could have unwanted effects on exposure, from coming in-between an installed filter and the filter holder and lens behind it. Additionally, the Benro 100 x 150mm Filter Protecting Frame reinforces an installed filter's rigidity while preventing its sides from having to come into direct contact with a filter holder's slots. This protects those side surfaces and promotes sharp results by helping to ensure that the filter remains flat.
